Services Available

The programs and services of Durham Children’s Aid Society are designed to meet the needs of the children and families throughout Durham Region.

We provide protection services to children throughout our region, but we also provide support for families when they need help.

Many children with whom we are working remain in the care of their families. That is, they never come into foster care. Our workers visit with these families regularly, offering ongoing support in many ways, such as counselling, acquiring appropriate medical treatment, ensuring educational needs are met, or referring to countless other resources.
